Christopher Fitzgerald, Tammy Grimes, Lorraine Serabian, et al. Set for Broadway Originals!

Updated casting has been announced for Broadway Originals!, part of the seventh annual Broadway Cabaret Festival, created, written and hosted for The Town Hall by TheaterMania contributor Scott Siegel.

Broadway Originals! will kick off the festival on Sunday, October 16 at 3pm. In it, performers will reprise songs they introduced either in the original Broadway production or revival. In addition to the previously reported Yvonne Constant, Daisy Eagan, Christopher Fitzgerald, Alexander Gemignani, Marilyn Michaels, Bob Stillman, and The Manhattan Rhythm Kings, the show will feature Sarah Uriate Berry, Tituss Burgess, Andrea Fierson, Tammy Grimes, Marva Hicks, Vanessa A. Jones, Ramona Keller, Anne Runolfsson, Lorraine Serabian, and Marianne Tatum. Scott Coulter is the director and John Fischer is the musical director.

Other previously reported events in the festival include Elaine Stritch, who will perform on Saturday, October 22 at 8pm. The legendary actress won a Tony and two Drama Desk Awards for the Broadway production of Elaine Stritch At Liberty. She won Emmy Awards for the television adaptation of that show, as well as for guest appearances on Law & Order and 30 Rock.

The festival will conclude with A Tribute to Judy Garland & Gene Kelly on Friday, October 28 at 8pm. Siegel will host this unique tribute with interviews with the award-winning entertainer and daughter of Judy Garland, Lorna Luft, and the award-winning Broadway director/choreographer Susan Stroman. Performers will include Noah Racey, Elizabeth Stanley, Carole J. Bufford, and the New York Song and Dance Company, with additional casting to be announced.
