Carter, Depp, Hathaway, Sheen Set for Burton’s Alice in Wonderland

Sweeney Todd director Tim Burton and stars Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter will reunite for a new film version of Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland, due for release in 2010, according to published reports.

The film, which will use a combination of live action and performance-capture technology, will star Mia Wasikowska as Alice, along with Anne Hathaway and Michael Sheen. Additional casting is still to be announced.
