Broadway’s Jason Alexander and Tovah Feldshuh to Star in The York Theatre Company’s Production of Two By Two

The Richard Rodgers musical will run for only five performances beginning February 15.

Tony Award winner Jason Alexander (Jerome Robbins’ Broadway) and Broadway favorite Tovah Feldshuh (Irena’s Vow) will star in The York Theatre Company’s production of the Richard Rodgers musical Two By Two. The show will run for only five performances from February 15-17 as part of the Musicals in Mufti program. The Company’s Musicals in Mufti series presents musicals in a simply-staged, book-in-hand concert format.

In addition to Alexander and Feldshuh, the cast will include Frank Calamaro, Natalie Cortez, Claybourne Elder (Bonnie and Clyde), Ruthie Ann Miles, Elizabeth Stanley (Million Dollar Quartet), and Josh Tower (Ragtime). Martin Charnin, the show’s original lyricist, will direct the production, which will also feature musical direction by Christopher McGovern.

Two By Two is a musical adaptation of the story of Noah and the Ark, based on Clifford Odets’ play The Flowering Peach, wherein Noah and his family are characterized in modern Jewish vernacular.

Two By Two features a book by Peter Stone (1776), music by Richard Rodgers and lyrics by Charnin.
