Broadway Green Alliance (BGA) is sponsoring an e-waste drive for the theater industry and fans on Wednesday, September 12. It runs 11am-2pm in Duffy Square.

In partnership with Electronic Recyclers International, the BGA will recycle, repurpose, and properly dispose of electronic waste that is collected during the drive. You may bring cellphones, copy machines, computer peripherals, desktop computers, DVD players, fax machines, laptops, monitors, printers, storage media, and stereo equipment.

You may also drop off iPods and they will be donated to the Broadway Alzheimer's iPod Project. They will not accept any hazardous waste, household appliances, lamps or bulbs, items containing mercury, and any biohazardous materials.

The Broadway Green Alliance educates, motivates, and inspires the entire theater community and its patrons to implement environmentally friendlier practices.
