The Bengsons’ new show Ohio will have an off-Broadway run January 17-March 27 at the Greenwich House Theater.

Ohio comes to New York following runs at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the Bristol Old VIc, and the Young Vic Theatre.

Directed by Caitlin Sullivan, Ohio features video design by David Bengali, lighting by Bethany Gupwell, sets by Cate McCrea, and sound by Nick Kourtides. Alison Kopit is the access dramaturg.

Ohio is the journey of Shaun Bengson’s choice to live joyfully when faced with acute degenerative hearing loss.

“The fact that the result, from the married American Indie-Folk duo, The Bengsons, is also moving, thought-provoking and often very funny makes it a genuine gem, a diamond in the rough of so many shows striving for any one of those qualities,” our critic at WhatsOnStage said of the UK mountings.
