The Broadway Dreams Foundation will hit the road this summer to give performers across the country a shot at the spotlight with the Take It to the Limit: Defining EXTRA-Ordinary performing arts intensive tour. The national nonprofit training program will present a roster of Broadway directors, performers, and industry insiders who will offer personalized musical theater training and mentoring through performing arts workshops for students of all ages, skill levels, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

During each session, attendees will receive training in acting, dance, and vocal technique before performing with their Broadway idols in concert. Students will also learn how to improve their audition skills and have the opportunity to audition and perform for New York City casting directors and agents, including Craig Burns and Rachel Hoffman from Telsey + Company, Jamie Harris from Clear Talent Group, and Mark Redanty from BRS Talent Agency.

The tour will kick off at Hawkins School of Performing Arts in Sacramento, California, on May 31, followed by the Atlantic Lyric Theatre, the Anne and Jerry Moss Theater at New Roads School in Los Angeles, Omaha Performing Arts in Omaha, Kimmel Center for Performing Arts in Philadelphia, and Glimmerglass Festival in Cooperstown. Faculty is expected to include director Stafford Arima, choreographer Spencer Liff, and Broadway veterans Tituss Burgess, Quentin Earl Darrington, Christiane Noll, and Nicole Parker.
