Off-Broadway's Barrow Street Theatre has announced its lineup of productions, set for the upcoming fall season.

New Yiddish Rep's production of Samuel Beckett's Waiting for Godot, performed entirely in Yiddish with English supertitles, will open the season as part of the 2014 Origin's 1st Irish Festival. The production will be directed by Moshe Yassur, with an authorized translation by Shane Baker, and will offer 12 performances from September 4-21.

The Chicago improv duo TJ & Dave, now in their tenth year with the theater, will return to Barrow Street for four nights of performances from September 11-14.

Belfast Blues, written and performed by Geraldine Hughes (Jerusalem) and directed by Emmy Award winner Carol Kane (Wicked), will then offer a limited engagement beginning September 20. First presented at New York City's Culture Project in 2005, the one-woman show presents a tapestry of stories told from her perspective as a little girl coming of age in the war-torn Belfast of the 1980s. Performances will run through October 5.

Direct from the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Riding the Midnight Express With Bill Hayes will begin performances September 24 in advance of an October 2 opening. Both written and performed by Hayes, he recounts the true story of his arrest in Istanbul for smuggling hash and his subsequent escape from prison, rowing 17 miles across the open sea in the dark of night during a raging storm. The opening night will take place 39 years to the day since his escape.

The Neo-futurists will then perform their Drama Desk-nominated The Complete & Condensed Stage Directions of Eugene O'Neill Vol I, and the follow-up, Vol II in repertory. The limited engagement will begin October 28.

Beginning Thanksgiving week, Jeff Achtem will bring his puppet show Swamp Juice to Barrow Street for a limited holiday engagement. Select performances will be presented in tandem with a hands-on workshop, during which, Achtem will reveal some of his coveted secrets.
