BAM to Salute Susan Sarandon in February

BAMcinematek will salute Oscar winner and Broadway veteran Susan Sarandon with a four-day-long, 13-film tribute, February 10-13, at the BAM Rose Cinemas, according to The New York Times.

BAM will show such films as Dead Man Walking, Pretty Baby, Light Sleeper, Bull Durham, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and Thelma and Louise.

Sarandon is expected to appear at a question-and-answer session during the festival, as are writer-director Paul Schrader and actor-director John Turturro.

The actress last appeared on Broadway in the 2009 production of Ionesco’s Exit the King.
