Full casting has been announced for the Broadway revival of Tennessee Williams’ A Streetcar Named Desire, which will play the Broadhurst Theatre, April 3-July 22, with an opening on Sunday, April 22. Emily Mann will direct and the production will feature an original score by Terence Blanchard.

As previously reported, this multi-racial production will star Blair Underwood as Stanley, Nicole Ari Parker as Blanche, Daphne Rubin-Vega as Stella and Wood Harris as Mitch.

Newly announced cast members include Amelia Campbell, Carmen De Lavallade, Aaron Clifton Moten, Jacino Taras Riddick, Matthew Saldivar, and Count Stoval.

The creative team will include set designer Eugene Lee, lighting designer Edward Pierce, costume designer Paul Tazewell, sound designer Mark Bennett, and choreographer Camille Brown.

The play tells the tale of former school teacher and socialite Blanche DuBois, as she’s forced to move in with her sister Stella and her animalistic husband Stanley. But the fragile, Blanche quickly gets a gritty life lesson in the seamy, steamy underbelly of 1950’s New Orleans.
