Award Winners Tyne Daly, Norm Lewis, Lea Salonga Set for One-Night-Only Ragtime Concert

Manhattan Concert Productions has announced preliminary casting for their concert performance of Stephen Flaherty, Lynn Aherns, and Terrence McNally’s Tony Award-winning musical Ragtime, to be held on February 18 at Lincoln Center’s Avery Fisher Hall. Stafford Arima will direct the production, with music supervision by David Loud.

The concert’s star-studded cast will include Tony Award winner Tyne Daly (Master Class) as Emma Goldman, Tony Award nominee Norm Lewis (The Gershwins’ Porgy & Bess) as Coalhouse Walker Jr., and Tony Award winner Lea Salonga (Miss Saigon) as Mother.

This concert also features the New York City Chamber Orchestra, to be conducted by Sheliah Walker, as well as a chorus that will feature over 100 singers from around the country and a host of professional members from former Ragtime choruses and the Broadway community.
