PHOTO FLASH: Alan Alda, Joshua Bell, LeVar Burton, Debra Monk at World Science Festival Gala

Alan Alda and Brian Greene hosted the 2012 World Science Festival’s 5th anniversary gala celebration, entitled A Performing Arts Salute to Science, at The Allen Room at Jazz at Lincoln Center on Tuesday, May 29.

Performers included Joshua Bell, Paige Faure, Drew Gehling, Rose Hemingway, Debra Monk, Eryn Murman, James Naughton, Abbey O’Brien, Teal Wicks, and Yasmine Lee and Steven Ezra Marshall of Momix. The concert was staged by JoAnn M. Hunter.

Guests at the event included LeVar Burton and festival co-founder Tracy Day.
