Stephen Bogardus, Brigid Brady, Angel Desai, Michael Winther, and choreographer-director Patricia Birch will appear in New York Stories: A Musical Theater Cabaret, at 3pm on May 3 and 4 at the Museum of the City of New York (Fifth Avenue and 103rd Street).
The show, which will be written and directed by Michael Montel with musical direction by Lawrence Yurman, is inspired by two of the museum’s current exhibitions: Setting the Stage: Design by Donald Oeslanger and Under New York Skies: Nocturnes by Yvonne Jacquette. The program will include a special tribute tot he 50th anniversary of West Side Story.
