Peter Lockyer Takes Over as Jean Valjean in Les Miserables Tour logo

Peter Lockyer takes over the role of Jean Valjean in the 25th Anniversary touring production of Les Miserables, beginning in East Lansing, MI, at Wharton Center tonight, April 5.

New additions to the cast also include Timothy Gulan as Thénardier, Lauren Wiley as Cosette, and Jason Forbach as Enjolras. The principal cast also features Andrew Varela as Javert, Betsy Morgan as Fantine, Shawna M. Hamic as Madame Thénardier, Chasten Harmon as Éponine, Max Quinlan as Marius. Erin Cearlock and Juliana Simone alternate in the role of Little Cosette/Young Éponine. Joshua Colley and Marcus D'Angelo alternate in the role of Gavroche.

The ensemble includes Richard Todd Adams, Richard Barth, Natalie Beck, John Brink, Casey Erin Clark, Ian Patrick Gibb, Ben Gunderson, Siri Howard, Beth Kirkpatrick, Cornelia Luna, Nadine Malouf, Jordan Nichols, Weston Wells Olson, Jason Ostrowski, John Rapson, Rachel Rincione, Heather Jane Rolff, Hannah Shankman, Alan Shaw, Mavis Simpson-Ernst, Joseph Spieldenner, Joe Tokarz, Eric Van Tielen, Natalie Weiss and James Zannelli.

Based on Victor Hugo's classic novel of the same name, the show features music by Claude-Michel Schönberg, lyrics by Herbert Kretzmer from the original French text by Alain Boublil and Jean-Marc Natel and additional material by James Fenton. Laurence Connor and James Powell direct.

Following the East Lansing engagement, the tour will play Indianapolis, IN (April 10-15) and Greenville, SC (April 17-22).
