Zooey Deschanel will play the lead character in an untitled comedy pilot by Elizabeth Meriwether, according to a report in Variety. Jake Kasdan is set to direct.
The project is described as an ensemble piece ” that explores the sexual politics of men and women via a woman who moves in with three boorish men.”
Meriwether is the author of the plays Heddatron, Oliver Parker!, and The Mistakes Madeline Made.
