The show focuses on Miss Shirley, an aging single mother who has just received a diagnosis of terminal cancer. With the help of Madea (Perry), she assembles her grown children (and their significant others) for one final reunion. The DVD features the stage production which toured the country earlier this year. As previously announced, Perry is at work on a big screen version of his script.
