Judd Hirsch will join fellow Broadway veterans John Goodman and Chris Messina in the cast of DirecTV’s Damages, according to EW.com.
The series, which stars Tony Award winner and Emmy Award winner Glenn Close as hard-bitten attorney Patty Hewes, will return to the air this summer on DirecTV.
Hirsch will play a former mentor of Hewes’ who is now dealing with alcoholism. Goodman will play the CEO of a military contractor who is put on trial in a wrongful death suit; and Messina will play a former soldier who works for Goodman.
