Puckoon, From the Book by Spike Milligan, to Play Leicester Square Theatre in March

Vincent Higgins’ adaptation of Spike Milligan’s book Puckoon will play the Leicester Square Theatre, running March 8-27. Zoe Seaton will direct the Big Telly production, which will feature music and songs by Paul Boyd.

The comedy focuses on what happens when the Ulster Boundary Commission draws a new border through the small town of Puckoon, resulting in the church being separated from its own graveyard and the cost of a drink varying drastically within the confines of one pub. Casting for will be announced shortly.

Big Telly is Northern Ireland’s longest established theatre company and has worked closely with Milligan’s own production company to create the piece.
