On Monday, March 8, four actors playing the title role in the London production of Billy Elliot the Musical — Dean-Charles Chapman, Tom Holland, Ollie Gardner, and Fox Jackson-Keen — accepted an invitation to Downing Street to meet Prime Minister, Gordon Brown.

The boys were taken on a tour of Downing Street where they met with Margaret Hodge MP, Minister for Culture and Tourism before meeting with Brown in the Cabinet Room.

Billy Elliot the Musical, at the West End Victoria Palace Theatre, is based on the 2000 film of the same name, and tells the tale of a young boy with a dream of being a dancer. The musical features music by Elton John, book and lyrics by Lee Hall, direction by Stephen Daldry, and choreography by Peter Darling.
