John Barr to Star as Dan Leno in The Hard Boiled Egg and the Wasp

Casting has been announced for The Hard Boiled Egg and the Wasp, a new musical about the life of English music hall star Dan Leno, to run May 22-June 10 at The Giant Olive Theatre at the Lion & Unicorn.

Written by Jonathan Kydd and Andy Street, and directed by Kydd, The Hard Boiled Egg and the Wasp will star John Barr as Dan Leno, along with Richard Albrecht, Bradley Clarkson, Michael Chadwick, Callum Coates, Sarah Earnshaw, Philip Herbert, Claire Marlowe, and Alwyne Taylor.

The creative team will include Alison Cartledge (scenic and costume design) and Phil Hunter (lighting design).
