Goodman Theatre's A Christmas Carol to Feature Larry Yando and More

This production marks the Goodman’s 40th anniversary staging of the holiday favorite.

Chicago's Goodman Theatre has announced casting for its 40th annual production of A Christmas Carol, starring Larry Yando as Ebenezer Scrooge.

In addition to Yando, cast members include Kareem Bandealy as Narrator, Young Scrooge, Scrooge Alternate, Ariana D. Burks as Martha Cratchit, Lisa Gaye Dixon as Ghost of Christmas Present, Joe Foust as Jacob Marley, J. Salomé Martinez as Abe, Ron E. Rains as Bob Cratchit, Sadieh Rifai as Belle, Penelope Walker as Mrs. Fezziwig, Jonah D. Winston as Mr. Fezziwig, Breon Arzell as Dick Wilkins, Molly Brennan as Ghost of Christmas Past, Ali Burch as Frida, Meighan Gerachis as Schoolteacher, and Michele Vazquez as Mrs. Cratchit. Paris Strickland will play Tiny Tim, marking the first time a female has played the role at the Goodman.

The young performers in A Christmas Carol include Margaret Chong as Emily Cratchit, Andrea Crisp as Belinda Cratchit, Cameron Good as Boy Scrooge, Kei as Turkey Boy, and Aaron Stone as Peter Cratchit.

A Christmas Carol, directed by Henry Wishcamper, runs November 18-December 31.
