Gloria Estefan Musical On Your Feet! Will Play Broadway

Directed by Jerry Mitchell, the show features a book by Alexander Dinelaris.

On Your Feet!, a new musical based on the life of seven-time Grammy-winning singer Gloria Estefan and her husband, the music producer Emilio Estefan, will premiere on Broadway in fall 2015, producers have announced. The show will play a Nederlander theater following a summer 2015 world premiere in Chicago.

Featuring a book by Alexander Dinelaris (The Bodyguard), On Your Feet! is to be directed by Jerry Mitchell (Kinky Boots) and choreographed by Sergio Trujillo (Jersey Boys). The musical features Estefan's chart-topping hits "Rhythm Is Gonna Get You," "1-2-3," and "Conga," along with new music penned by the Estefans.

The show is produced by The Nederlander Organization and Estefan Enterprises, Inc., in partnership with Bernie Yurman. Casting and members of the creative team will be announced at a later date.
