Lee Breuer and members of his Mabou Mines troupe will present Glass Guignol, as part of the Provincetown Tennessee Williams Theater Festival, on September 24 at 7:30pm.

Breuer will be joined by performers Maude Mitchell, Greg Mehrten, and Jessica Weinstein, as well as choreographer Eamonn Farrell to present scenes from The Glass Menagerie in ways never seen before. They will be accompanied throughout by live music from composer Jay Ansill.

In addition, master puppeteer and scene designer Basil Twist will join with Breuer in presenting images from their Parisian production of A Streetcar Named Desire in which they created images such as Blanche lost in a sinister Mardi Gras parade on her way to visit her sister; Stella flying down an invisible staircase to forgive Stanley; and Blanche’s hallucinatory rape in which Stanley becomes one of the Heath Ledger-like Jokers in a deck of shuffling cards.
