Lynn Nottage and Christopher Wheeldon to Create Michael Jackson Musical

Two-time Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Lynn Nottage and Tony-winning director and choreographer Christopher Wheeldon will team up for a new Broadway musical inspired by the life of music icon Michael Jackson. The musical will premiere in 2020.
Featuring a book by Nottage (Ruined, Sweat) and direction and choreography by Wheeldon (An American in Paris), the musical will feature hits from Jackson's catalogue, and it will be produced by the Michael Jackson Estate and Columbia Live Stage.
Additional information about the untiled musical has not yet been announced.
