Jessica Lange Takes Home a 2016 Tony Award for Long Day's Journey Into Night

Stage and screen star Jessica Lange has been honored with a 2016 Tony Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Play for playing the role of Mary Tyrone in Roundabout Theatre Company's Long Day's Journey Into Night. The revival of Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize-winning drama is now playing at the American Airlines Theatre.

In addition to Oscar and Emmy winner Jessica Lange, Long Day's Journey Into Night stars Golden Globe winner Gabriel Byrne as James Tyrone, Tony winner John Gallagher Jr. as Edmund, Oscar nominee Michael Shannon as James Tyrone Jr., and Colby Minifie as Cathleen.

Roundabout presents Long Day's Journey Into Night in association with Ryan Murphy, the producer of TV's Glee and American Horror Story.

Lange's previous Broadway credits include 1992's A Streetcar Named Desire and 2005's The Glass Menagerie.
