Jason Mraz and Sara Bareilles to Host Waitress Karaoke

Head down to the diner on October 30 for a chance to sing for two musical pros.

Incoming Waitress star Jason Mraz and composer Sara Bareilles will host the Monday, October 30 edition of "Cast Album Karaoke."

Following the 7pm performance that night, audience members will be given the chance to sing one minute of any song in the show on the Brooks Atkinson Theatre stage, accompanied by musical director Nadia DiGiallonardo. Interested audience members will be able to sign up before the show.

Inspired by Adrienne Shelly's 2007 motion picture, Waitress features songs by Sara Bareilles, a book by Jessie Nelson, and direction by Diane Paulus. The production opened April 24, 2016, at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre, and earned four Tony nominations.

The Waitress principal company includes Betsy Wolfe as Jenna, with Drama Desk nominee Eric Anderson (Cal), Maia Nkenge Wilson (Becky), Christopher Fitzgerald (Ogie), Drew Gehling (Dr. Pomatter), Caitlin Houlahan (Dawn), John Cullum (Joe), and Will Swenson (Earl).
