Photos have been released from Sam Gold's new Broadway production of Shakespeare's King Lear, featuring Tony winner Glenda Jackson in the title role. The production opens tonight at the Cort Theatre.

Joining Jackson in the company are Ruth Wilson (Cordelia and Fool), Jayne Houdyshell (Earl of Gloucester), Elizabeth Marvel (Goneril), Aisling O'Sullivan (Regan), Pedro Pascal (Edmund), John Douglas Thompson (Earl of Kent), Sean Carvajal (Edgar), Russell Harvard (Duke of Cornwall), Matthew Maher (Oswald), Michael Arden (Aide to Cornwall), Justin Cunningham (Duke of Burgundy), Dion Johnstone (Duke of Albany), and Ian Lassiter (King of France). Che Ayende, Therese Barbato, Stephanie Roth Haberle, Daniel Marmion, and John McGinty are ensemble members.

The creative team includes Miriam Buether (scenic design), Ann Roth (costume design), Jane Cox (lighting design), and Scott Lehrer (sound design).
