Flashback Friday: No Matter the Stage, Glenda Jackson Always Holds the Floor

Check out the ”Three Tall Women” star in action as a politician.

For two decades, the multi-Oscar-winning actor Glenda Jackson gave up her chosen profession in favor of an equally difficult — and invigorating — one. She was the British Parliament's Labour party representative for the districts of Hampstead and Kilburn from 1997-2015, before retiring to once again return to the theater. Now making her first Broadway appearance in decades with Three Tall Women, we're flashing back to one of Jackson's more vociferous speeches before the House of Commons, proving that she can hold the floor no matter what the stage.
