Jones will star alongside her son, Patrick Cassidy.
Mother-and-son stage team Shirley Jones and Patrick Cassidy will lead an American concert tour of Meredith Willson's The Music Man, beginning in Mason City, Iowa, on September 18. Glen Casale will direct the show.
The Music Man In Concert stars Jones as the host of the evening and Mrs. Paroo, with Cassidy as Prof. Harold Hill. Teri Bibb takes on the role of Marian Paroo, alongside Janna Cardia, Julie Cardia, Michael Dotson, Phil Gold, Danielle Hansen, Perry Lambert, Dink O'Neal, Joseph Torello, and Janis Uhley. The production will feature a 12-piece big brass band and a local choir.

The production features a concert adaptation by Evans Haile, with additional material by Cassidy and Phil LaDuka. Subsequent stops include Topeka, Kansas; Springfield, Missouri; and Little Rock, Arkansas, with additional cities to be announced.
