Orlando Shakespeare to Host 22nd Annual Shakespeare Conference

Orlando Shakespeare Theater will partner with UCF (OST) to host the 22nd annual conference of the Shakespeare Theatre Association (STA) at the John and Rita Lowndes Shakespeare Center, February 29-March 3, 2012.

The conference will bring leading Shakespeare producers, directors, educators, and actors from around the world to Orlando for an enlightening and educational assembly. The theme of this year’s conference is “Shakespeare: Here and Everywhere.”

The kick-off event will be the previously reported one-man show by Tony Award winner Roger Rees, What You Will, to be presented at the Lowndes Shakespeare Center, on February 29 at 7pm. Conference attendees may also attend Orlando Shakespeare Theater’s productions of William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet and Cymbeline, presented in rotating repertory.
