The cast of the New Group's world premiere of The Starry Messenger, written and directed by Kenneth Lonergan, had a celebration on Monday, November 16.
The show, which opens officially on November 23 at Theatre Row, stars Matthew Broderick, Catalina Sandino Moreno, J Smith-Cameron, Stephanie Cannon, Kieran Culkin, Merwin Goldsmith, Grant Shaud, and Missy Yager.
The play concerns Mark (Broderick), a 40-something married man who works at the Hayden Planetarium and whose life turns upside-down when he meets a pretty young single mother (Moreno).
Among the celebrities who joined the cast for the party were Rosie O'Donnell, Natasha Lyonne, Sam Trammell, Tate Donovan, Josh Hamilton, and Katrhryn Erbe.
