Bio:
Matthew Broderick's first big break was performing in an off-off-Broadway workshop of Horton Foote's On Valentine's Day. A year later, he was featured in the Off-Broadway production of Torch Song Trilogy, then made his Broadway debut in 1983 in Brighton Beach Memoirs, for which won his first Tony Award. His second Tony was for the 1995 revival of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. Other Broadway credits include The Philanthropist, The Producers, The Odd Couple, Taller Than a Dwarf, Night Must Fall, and Biloxi Blues. He has appeared in the Off-Broadway shows The Widow Claire and The Foreigner. His most prominent films include WarGames, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Glory, The Freshman, The Lion King, Godzilla, and the movie musical version of The Producers. Broderick has also starred in televised versions of the plays Master Harold... and the Boys and David Mamet's A Life in the Theater. He is the husband of Sarah Jessica Parker and the son of actor James Broderick.
