Actor and writer Tim Blake Nelson's Eye of God will have its New York premiere at The Kirk Theatre, running October 2-17. Lisa Devine will direct the Theatre East production.

Set in Kingfisher, Oklahoma, Nelson's play is a love story between an innocent young woman and a strong man of faith. The company features Morgan Baker, Ehad Berisha, Benard Cummings, William Franke, Judson Jones, Helen Merino, Richard Mawe, Valerie Redd, Matt Savins, Doug Sheppard, and Shorey Walker.

The creative team will include scenic designer Robin Vest, costume designer Benjamin Taylor Ridgway, lighting designer Jessica M. Burgess, and sound designer/composer Scott O'Brien.
