Glee: Showstoppers Tops Billboard Chart for Second Week, Journey to Regionals to Be Released June 8

Glee: The Music, Volume 3 Showstoppers has remained at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart for the second straight week, and has sold approximately 200,000 copies. The CD features vocals from such Broadway performers as Lea Michele, Matthew Morrison, Kristin Chenoweth, Neil Patrick Harris, Idina Menzel, and Jonathan Groff.

In related news, Glee: The Music, Journey to Regionals, the newest disc featuring music from FOX’s hit series Glee, will be released on June 8, to coincide with the season 1 finale of the show on that day.

Journey to Regionals will be a six-track disc and will feature the cast’s take on Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody,” a mash-up version of Journey’s hits “Any Way You Want It” with “Lovin’, Touchin’, Squeezin’,” Lulu’s hit “To Sir With Love, “and The Wizard of Oz classic “Somewhere Over the Rainbow,” in addition to a special ‘regionals’ version of Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin’.”
