Tony Award nominee Lily Rabe will be honored at the Alliance of Resident Theatres/New York (A.R.T./New York) gala, to be held at Dream Downtown on Monday, April 16 beginning at 6pm.

Rabe, who will receive The Abe L. Blinder Award, was Tony-nominated for her performance in The Merchant of Venice. She most recently starred on Broadway in Seminar, and is set to play Rosalind in Shakespeare’s As You Like It this summer as part of the Public Theater’s Shakespeare in the Park season at the Delacorte Theater.

The event will also honor the organization’s treasurer, Tim N. Hartzell, in honor of his decade-long service on the A.R.T./New York board as Treasurer, and now as co-chair of the organization’s Capital Campaign.

The gala will feature performances by The TEAM (Theatre of the Emerging American Moment) who will present a sequence from Mission Drift; Target Margin Theater, who will present an excerpt from Shakespeare’s The Tempest; and Vampire Cowboys, who will perform a number from Qui Nguyen’s original play, The Inexplicable Redemption of Agent G, produced in collaboration with Ma-Yi Theater Company.
