Murray Hill, Taylor Mac, Kenny Melman, Jeanine Tesori, Tigger! Set for Joe’s Pub

Updated information has been announced for upcoming Joe’s Pub programming for April and May.

Casting has been announced for the previously reported The Who’s “Tommy” Burlesque Tribute on April 6 at 11:30pm. This over the top rendition of the legendary rock opera will be led by Anita Cookie and Clams Casino, and feature an all-star cast of NYC’s hottest burlesque and modern vaudeville stars including the Burlesque’s Golden Throat, Broadway Brassy; Queen of Burlesque Fusion, The Maine Attraction; Burlesque Under the Influence, The Sticky Situation; Psychedelic Guitar Diva, Viva DeConcini and your host, Burlesque Pioneer and the Original Mr. Exotic World, Tigger! and many more.

Upcoming acts will also include Scream Along with Billy Presents: “Nashville.” (April 8); Lady Rizo (April 12); James Jackson Jr. (April 15); Taylor Mac with musical director Lance Horne (April 16); Murray Hill (April 19); PigPen Theatre Co. in Bremen (April 24); Our Hit Parade with Bridgett Everett, Kenny Mellman, and Neal Medlyn (April 25, May 30); Jeanine Tesori For the Love of Vinyl with guests Ramona Keller and John Clancy (April 30); Irene Jacob (May 3), Bridgett Everett & The Tender Moments (May 3), Martha Wash (May 4); The Dance: The Music of Liz Swados (May 6); Sxip’s Hour of Charm (May 11); Miss Richfeld 1981 (May 11); The Civilians (May 18); and Tanya O’Debra & Molly Pope in Lo-Fi Floozies (May 27).

In addition, Roslyn Hart’s comedy Never Sleep Alone will continue at the venue with performances March 30 and April 14, 21, and 28.
