Harry Connick, Jr., David Alan Grier, Mariska Hargitay, Kate Mulgrew Set for National Corporate Theatre Fund Gala

Presenters have been announced for the National Corporate Theatre Fund’s annual gala, to be held at The Pierre on April 30, beginning at 6:30pm. Two-time Tony nominee David Alan Grier, currently on Broadway in The Gershwins’ Porgy and Bess, will emcee the event.

As previously reported, Mariska Hargitay, who stars on Law & Order: SVU, will present Harry Connick, Jr. with NCTF’s 2012 Theatre Artist Award.

Broadway veteran and television star Kate Mulgrew will present Cleveland Play House with the 2012 Achievement in Theatre Award.


Joe Dowling, director of the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis, will present James S. Turley, CEO of Ernst & Young, and chairman of NCTF, with the Leadership Award.


In addition, David Henry Hwang will present The Cleveland Clinic’s President and Chief Executive Officer Toby M. Cosgrove, M.D. with the Institutional Leadership Award.
