Two-time Tony Award nominees Dana Ivey (The Importance of Being Earnest) and Brad Oscar (Something Rotten!) are set to join the cast of a concert edition of the Walt Disney 1967 movie-musical The Happiest Millionaire, which is set to take place December 3 at Joe's Pub. Adapted by Doug Thompson and Alex Beck from the screenplay by A.J. Carothers, the show will be directed by Alex Beck.

Ivey and Oscar will take on the roles of Aunt Mary and Anthony J. Drexel Biddle, respectively, alongside the newly announced Nicholas Barasch (She Loves Me) as Angier Buchanan Duke, Luca Padovan (Marvin’s Room) as Livingston Biddle, Sam Poon (The King and I) as Tony Biddle, and Cherish Myers (Mary Poppins) as Cordy Biddle. Myers will share the role of Cordy with previously announced cast member Lesley Ann Warren as she and Joyce Bulifant reprise their original film roles. The cast also includes Christopher Carothers (son of original The Happiest Millionaire screenwriter A.J. Carothers), Tyler Fauntleroy, and Jason Pintar.

The movie features songs by Richard M. Sherman and Robert B. Sherman and tells the story of eccentric renaissance man Anthony J. Drexel Biddle and his daughter, Cordy.

Produced by Doug Thompson and Brice Corder, the concert features musical staging by Jason Wise and musical direction by Mark Hartman. All proceeds will solely benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
