The cast recording of the hit off-Broadway show Murder for Two will be available digitally on Tuesday, January 14 by Ghostlight Records. The physical album will be available in stores Tuesday, February 11. The production will celebrate its album release on Monday, January 13 at New World Stages, where ticket holders will be invited to attend a party immediately following the evening's performance. The physical album will feature complete lyrics, exclusive photos, a synopsis by creators Joe Kinosian and Kellen Blair, as well as an essay by Oscar- and Grammy Award-winning composer Stephen Schwartz (Wicked).
Murder for Two stars Brett Ryback as an investigator of a crime, and and Jeff Blumenkrantz as all of the murder suspects. The show played to critical acclaim at the McGinn/Cazale Theater this past summer in a Second Stage Uptown production, and was recently remounted off-Broadway at New World Stages.
Murder for Two features a book and music by KInosian, book and lyrics by Blair, scenic design by Beowulf Boritt, costume design by Andrea Lauer, lighting design by Jason Lyons, sound design by Jill B.C. DuBoff, and choreography by Wendy Seyb.
