All Broadway Shows and Most Off-Broadway Shows Resume Regular Schedules on November 3

With power restored to Manhattan, all Broadway shows and most Off-Broadway shows have resumed regular performance schedules as of Saturday, November 3.

Many shows around town had to postpone performances in the wake of Hurricane Sandy, and because the New York State government shut down subway, bus, and commuter railroad service in anticipation of the storm. Some public transportation has been restored, though subway service below 34th Street in Manhattan is still in flux.

Some theaters in areas where power was not restored until last night are still dark this weekend, such as The Vineyard Theater, which needs time for clean-up.

Many Broadway and Off-Broadway shows are also offering free tickets or other post-hurricane discounts.

Theatergoers should check with individual theaters about their schedules, and those who who require an exchange or refund should contact their point of purchase for questions about those policies.
