Furthering its mission of giving Broadway actors a chance to showcase their own music, Sh-K-Boom will present a special concert featuring cast members of the musical revival Into the Woods doing just that. Laura Benanti (“Cinderella”), Tracy Nicole Chapman (“Florinda”), Melissa Dye (“Rapunzel”), Trent Armand Kendall (“Steward”), Chad Kimball (“Milky White”), and understudy Amanda Naughton will perform songs of their own composition on Thursday, August 15 in a late night show at The Cutting Room.

Harlem Song‘s Rosa Curry, Little Ham‘s André Garner, and Vykky Cave of the group Steely Dan will provide back-up vocals. The band on hand will include Tony Aliperti (guitar), Ted Baker (keyboards), Tommy Igoe (drums), Michael Leonhart (percussion, trumpet, guitar), and Mark Vanderpoel (bass).

The concert will start at 11pm. There will be a $10 cover charge; reservations may be made in advance by e-mailing BoomRoom@sh-k-boom.com. The Cutting Room is located at 19 West 24th Street (between 5th and 6th avenues) in Manhattan.
