Memphis, which is playing at the Shubert Theatre, is based on a concept by George W. George and features book and lyrics by Joe DiPietro, music and lyrics by David Bryan, direction by Christopher Ashley, and choreography by Sergio Trujillo.

The cast recording, which is distributed by Rhino Records, contains 19 songs and features a special acoustic version of "The Music of My Soul" with piano and vocals by Bryan.

The show stars Chad Kimball (Huey Calhoun), Montego Glover (Felicia Farrell), Derrick Baskin (Gator), J. Bernard Calloway (Delray Jones), James Monroe Iglehart (Bobby), Michael McGrath (Mr. Simmons), and Cass Morgan (Gladys Calhoun).
