The work of the absurdist playwright Eugene Ionesco may not be what one considers an "easy sell," but Broadway ticket buyers are already lining up to see his rarely-revived comedy Exit the King, at the Barrymore Theatre, in large part because of the even rarer appearances of Oscar winners Geoffrey Rush and Susan Sarandon as the slow-to-die King Berenger and his stoic wife, Queen Marguerite. TheaterMania recently spoke with the two stars, along with Tony Award winner Andrea Martin and Broadway veteran William Sadler -- who play pivotal supporting roles -- about this exciting project.
