ATW Playwriting Seminar to be Held on February 9

The American Theatre Wing’s next “Working in the Theatre” seminar, titled “Playwrights and Their New Plays,” will be held on Monday, February 9, from 11am to 1pm. It will feature Nilo Cruz, Julia Jordan, Terrence McNally, Paul Rudnick, and Regina Taylor, and will be moderated by James Houghton.

The “Working in the Theatre” seminars, moderated by theater professionals and held every fall and spring, are offered free to theater students, members of theatrical unions and guilds, and cast members of Broadway and Off-Broadway shows.

The seminar will take place at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York (365 Fifth Avenue at 34th Street). Reservations must be made in advance by calling 212-765-0606, faxing 212-307-1910, or e-mailing mailbox@americantheatrewing.org. Tickets are distributed to reservation holders 45 minutes prior to each seminar. The series is broadcast six times a week on CUNY-TV (Time Warner channel 75 and RCN channel 106) and the seminars are also shown regularly on Channel 36 in Los Angeles; check your local listings for additional information.
