Irvine Barclay Theatre to Present Les 7 Doigts de la Main’s PSY

Irvine Barclay Theatre is set to present Traces creators Les 7 doigts de la main’s new circus show PSY, May 10-13.

Created in 2010, PSY is a surreal look at the human psyche. The action of begins in the quiet of a psychiatrist’s office as the voices in a man’s head instructs him to climb on a trapeze and hang by his toes. As the show continues, the cast travels through a shifting landscape of distorted visions and fractured memories.

Les 7 doigts de la main translates literally as the 7 fingers of the hand. Founded in Montreal in 2002, the troupe’s initial goal was to bring circus to a human scale.
