Christopher Carothers, Brandon Large, Christina Saffran-Ashford Set for Innocence Reading
Casting has been announced for a staged reading of the new musical Innocence, from Jonathan Dove & Alasdair Middleton. It will be presented by International City Theatre at the Long Beach Performing Arts Center on Monday, April 23 at 7pm. Lee Martino will direct, with musical direction by Darryl Archibald.
The days surrounding the assassination and funeral of President John F. Kennedy are the backdrop for this new musical that examines the hopes, expectations and emotional significance of that time through the eyes of several individuals who felt the loss deeply.
The cast will include Christina Saffran-Ashford, Christopher Carothers, Brandon Large, Norman Large, Linda Kerns, Alet Taylor, Chauncey Jenkins, Pat Loeb, Jennifer Shelton, Eli Villanueva, Leslie Stevens, and Jane Noseworthy.
Admission is free and open to the public.
