Brooke Shields to Guest Star on ABC’s The Middle

Stage and screen star Brooke Shields will reprise her guest-starring role as Rita Glossner on ABC’s hit sitcom The Middle this season, according to TVLine.com.
The site also reports that Norm McDonald, Dave Foley, Jerry Van Dyke, and Marsha Mason will also guest star on the series, which stars Patricia Heaton and Neil Flynn as the parents of a suburban Midwestern clan.
Shields will be part of the rotating cast of the Off-Broadway production of The Exonerated. Her many Broadway credits include The Addams Family, Wonderful Town, Chicago, Grease, and Cabaret. She also co-hosted the 2012 Drama Desk Awards.
Her many film and television credits include Endless Love, Suddenly Susan, and Lipstick Jungle.
