Roger Allam, Nancy Carroll to Announce 2012 Olivier Nominees

Roger Allam and Nancy Carroll will announce the nominees for the 2012 Olivier Awards at the Mayfair Hotel on Thursday, March 15. The announcement will be streamed live online at www.olivierawards.com.

Allam won the Best Actor Olivier Award last year for his performance as Falstaff in Henry IV Parts 1 and 2. He won additional Olivier Awards for Privates on Parade and Money, and among his many other credits is originating the part of Javert in Les Miserables.

Carroll won the Best Actress Olivier Award for After The Dance at the 2011 ceremony. Among her many other stage credits are House of Games, See How They Run, and Arcadia.

As previously reported, Michael Ball and Imelda Staunton will once again host the Olivier Awards Ceremony to be held on April 15 at the Royal Opera House. The event will be carried on BBC television, radio and on the web.
