Sally Hawkins, Rafe Spall to Star in West End Transfer of Nick Payne’s Constellations
The Royal Court Theatre will transfer Nick Payne’s Constellations to the West End’s Duke of York’s Theatre, to run November 9-January 5, with an opening on November 16.
Directed by Michael Longhurst, the play, about a romance between a bee-keeper and a cosmology academic, will feature Rafe Spall and Sally Hawkins, who reprise their roles from the Royal Court Upstairs production.
Constellations premiered as part of the Jerwood New Playwrights program. The production follows other Royal Court presentations Posh and Jumpy, also at the Duke of York’s.
