Las Vegas’ Studio 54 to Now Close in February

MGM Grand Hotel & Casino’s Studio 54 nightclub will now close its doors to the public on February 4 after 14 years on the Las Vegas strip, rather than its previously announced date of January 8.

Studio 54 opened as the first megaclub in Las Vegas and played a part in launching the nightlife trend that still remains prevalent throughout the strip today.

The shuttering of Studio 54 is part of a property renovation for MGM Grand which includes enhancements to guest rooms, casino floors and dining experiences, among others. Details on the new nightlife venue that will replace Studio 54 will be announced at a later date.
