Additional casting has been announced for the Radio City Music Hall engagement of Cameron Mackintosh’s touring show Les Misérables: The Arena Concert Spectacular, July 23-August 9, 2026.
A supergroup of Les Misérables alumni, the concerts will feature Samantha Barks as Fantine, Matt Lucas as Thénardier, Marina Prior as Madame Thénardier, Jac Yarrow as Marius, Beatrice Penny-Touré as Cosette, Shan Ako as Éponine, and Christian Mark Gibbs as Enjolras.
Alfie Boe, Killian Donnelly, and Gerónimo Rauch will alternate in the role of Jean Valjean. Bradley Jaden and Jeremy Secomb will alternate as Javert.
Joining them will be three-time Olivier winner Philip Quast, who originated Javert in the Australian production in 1987 and will now play the Bishop of Digne. Rob Madge, who previously played Gavroche in the Les Miz 25th Anniversary concert, will now play Bamatabois. Cian Bhalla, Alfie Buck, and Mateo Casado will alternate the role of Gavroche.
The ensemble will include Kelly Agbowu, Amelia Broadway, Mary-Jean Caldwell, Harry Chandler, Rosy Church, Gabrielle Cummins, Beth Curnock, Jade Davies, Jordan Lee Davies, Jonathan David Dudley, Bryony Duncan, Harry Dunnett, Thiago Phillip Felizardo, Charlie Geoghegan, Nic Greenshields, Christopher Key, Michael Kholwadia, Andrew Maxwell, Jill Nalder, Lisa Peace, Emma Ralston, Ciaran Rodger, James Sillman, Geddy Stringer, Helen Walsh, Raymond Walsh, Danny Whitehead, and Owain Williams.
The dates follow a record-breaking world tour which opened in Belfast in 2024 and has sold over a million tickets across 30 cities in 25 countries. The arena production, developed from the Covid-era Les Misérables: The Staged Concert, marks the culmination of the musical’s 40th anniversary celebration, with the London production still running at the Sondheim Theatre.
The musical is written by Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg, based on Victor Hugo’s novel, with music by Schönberg, lyrics by Herbert Kretzmer, original French text by Boublil and Jean-Marc Natel, additional material by James Fenton, and adaptation by Trevor Nunn and John Caird.
Les Misérables The Arena Concert Spectacular features a new design created for large-scale venues, with direction by James Powell and Jean-Pierre Van Der Spuy, sets by Matt Kinley, costumes by Andreane Neofitou, Christine Rowland, and Paul Wills, lighting by Paule Constable and Warren Letton, sound by Mick Potter, projections by Finn Ross, orchestrations by Stephen Metcalfe, Christopher Jahnke, and Stephen Brooker, original orchestrations by John Cameron, and music supervision by Stephen Brooker and Alfonso Casado Trigo.
